Warpify Technologyhas raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A round from Zhongguancun Zhongnuo Fund, marking the Shenzhen-basedroboticscompany’s first institutional financing.
Warpify Technology operates Warpify Robotics as its global robotics brand, which focuses on helping customers deploy robotic systems around specific work requirements rather than selling a fixed catalog of machines.
“Customers do not need robots in isolation; they need work completed reliably, at a viable cost and with clear accountability,” founder Rick Zhang said inthe announcement. “Our role is to absorb the complexity of selection, deployment and operations so robotic work can be adopted and repeated across markets.”
The company said it will use the funding to expand in priority international markets, strengthen commercialization and continue developing its software, operating tools and delivery systems. Warpify also plans to invest in partner support and lifecycle services.
According to Warpify, it evaluates a customer’s workflow, operating environment and economics before selecting and configuring robot platforms, sensors and payloads. It also connects the systems with software and enterprise infrastructure and coordinates deployment and ongoing support.
Depending on the application, customers can acquire robots through direct purchase, leasing orRobotics-as-a-Service. Under the RaaS model, customers contract for a defined scope of robotic work while Warpify and local operating partners can coordinate deployment, monitoring, maintenance, repairs and service management.
Warpify said its approach is intended to make deployments more repeatable across sites and markets by combining hardware selection, integration, software, deployment and lifecycle operations under one operating model.
